Disclaimer
1. Custom PC Depot will only perform and provide custom computer builds, computer services, repairs, upgrades, and other IT related services as requested by the customer.
2. Custom PC Depot will conduct honest, reasonable, and considerate services. The goal is to provide the highest quality of service and support, but specific results cannot be guaranteed.
3. Computer builds/services/repairs are provided as a service. There may be circumstances under which your computer can not be repaired. It will have to be rebuilt or upgraded. (Examples: age of PC, repair/replacement parts that become obsolete, memory chips, motherboards, etc.)
4. The length of time required for custom builds, IT servicing, or to repair your computer cannot be accurately predicted.
5. You understand that in the process of working on your computer or network equipment, there is a potential for data loss. You agree that you have made the necessary backups of your data so that, in the event of such loss, the data can be restored. Custom PC Depot will not be responsible for data loss.
Billing Terms
1. Custom computer builds require a security deposit of $100.00 which will be for Custom PC Depot to keep to ourselves as the labor fee, on top of however much the total of the build costs. Custom PC Depot will provide the parts to their own expense but the total amount due stated on the invoice will be expected by the customer upon us shipping the computer out or you picking up the computer.
2. All deposits are non-refundable.
3. Other computer related services/repairs are billed as stated on the work order provided.
4. An estimate of cost for work will be provided before performing computer services/repairs. Estimates are not guaranteed. Work that cannot be completed will not be charged.
Payment Terms
1. Full payment is due upon completion of services, custom computer builds, upgrades or repairs.
2. Computer parts, hardware, and/or software that are ordered or special ordered must be paid in full upon picking up your computer.
3. Custom PC Depot only accepts Venmo, Zelle, or cash for payments.
4. The customer will not be allowed to file chargebacks of any kind to any of the listed payment methods upon completion of the service.
Liability
1. Service(s) are provided in an effort to custom build, fix, upgrade, or otherwise repair the computer system(s) for which you request such service(s).
2. Your system will not be intentionally harmed. The primary goal is to fix your computer, not damage it.
3. In the case of accidental damage of data to your system or data loss caused by already existing problems in your system such as viruses, poorly configured software, or hardware problems/failures - You agree to hold Custom PC Depot and any person(s) associated with Custom PC Depot or involved in the work being done for you harmless from damages resulting from such problems.
4. It is your responsibility to back up your data. Custom PC Depot will not be responsible for data loss.
Warranty Terms
1. Every new custom PC build from Custom PC Depot comes with a 90-day labor warranty.
2. Custom PC Depot's 90-day labor warranty covers labor costs and technical support. The client will be responsible for the cost of shipping the PC, or parts to and from Custom PC Depot if a defect is present.
4. Used computer builds sold by Custom PC Depot do not come with any warranties, expressed or implied, and are sold AS IS.
5. All components used in the custom PC build will come with its own manufacturer’s warranty and it is up to the customer to contact those manufacturers to make use of their warranties. This will not be Custom PC Depot's responsibility.
